The World of the Bible: Ancient Sites and Current Struggles

January 4-17, 2019

LSTC Professors Klaus-Peter Adam and Barbara Rossing will lead this 14-day tour that focuses not only on the events and people of the Bible but also on the struggles for peace and justice happening today in the Holy Land. You will visit key sites in the Galilee, Jerusalem, Qumran, Masada, Hebron and Bethlehem. You will stay on a kibbutz, worship with Lutherans in Bethlehem and spend two nights in Jordan to visit Petra and other outstanding sites.

Per person double-occupancy cost for departure from Chicago is $3,958. This includes $200 for student scholarships.  Ground only cost is $2,660 and includes $300 for student scholarships. Single room supplement is an additional $958. The all-inclusive price includes   roundtrip international airfare, deluxe motorcoaches, accommodations selected by the leaders, guided sightseeing, entrance fees to sites visited, breakfast and dinner daily, hotel gratuities, driver gratuities, program fees, fuel surcharges and taxes.
