Giving Day 2021

LSTC is counting on YOU to make a difference during Giving Day 2021, April 6-7, noon to noon. With a goal of raising $125,000 from 325 donors, your participation is essential to our success!

The Giving Day 2021 theme aligns with our new strategic plan's title - For such a time as this. The plan calls on us to transform the challenges we face as a church and as a society into opportunities to give a bold witness of faith and risk action for the sake of others.

Funds generated through Giving Day 2021 donations will support two initiatives of the plan: scholarship support and antiracism efforts.

During this all-virtual giving day:

  • Marvin Wickware Jr., LSTC assistant professor of church and society and ethics, will present the third in a series, “Talking About Antiracism.” Recordings of the first two are on LSTC’s YouTube channel.
  • Kurt and Jobey Hendel and Ken and Eloise Dale will challenge supporters of the seminary to make a gift. The couples have made a sacrificial lead gift commitment, and want you to join them in supporting LSTC!
  • Various LSTC students, alumni, donors and advocates will be featured sharing why they give.

More details are coming soon!
