Dale T. Nettnin Appointed Assistant Vice President for Advancement at LSTC September 13, 2005

Dale T. Nettnin joined the Advancement staff at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago on August 29 as assistant vice president. He will work with LSTC's alumni and donors in Iowa, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and other parts of the southeast.

Nettnin has served as director of major gifts for Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas, development officer for St. Leo University in Florida, and financial advisor for several groups, including Aid Association for Lutherans.

A lifelong Lutheran and active layperson, he has served on the synod finance committee for the Florida-Bahamas Synod and in stewardship ministries of several Florida Lutheran churches. He is the past chair, vice chair and board member of Family Resources, Inc. He is president-elect for Family Care Center, a homeless shelter for dependent children and their families. Nettnin also has been a board member of several other non-profit organizations in Florida and North Carolina.

Nettnin will divide his time between Chicago and his home office in Hickory, North Carolina, where he lives with spouse, Melody, an education minister for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Contact Nettnin by phone at 773-256-0718 or email, dnettnin@lstc.edu.
