LSTC's Youth in Mission Program for high school youth is sponsoring the public concert. The concert is free and open to the public. Groups may call 773-256-0725 to reserve seats. These talks will be followed by a panel discussion and conversation with the audience.The evening will conclude with a reception. This is part of LSTC's Green Zone initiative to make the seminary a "geographical area in which lifestyle and activities promote a healthy environment and where the people are committed to the healing of creation." Cornelsen Family Foundation has pledged $400,000 to create an endowed program fund at LSTC to fund guest lecturers, faculty research, and teaching assistants. An additional gift of up to $25,000 a year over four years, will match any new gifts given to the seminary by its employees.
