Master of Arts in Theological Studies

The MATS is the fastest growing program at LSTC. It is an incredibly flexible program that students can easily shape to their interests since half of the credits required for this two-year degree are electives. Students that choose this program will be prepared with basic foundational courses in Bible, History, Theology and Core area options and will write a summative academic paper at the end of their program.

Emphases

LSTC offers Master of Arts (Theological Studies) students the opportunity to emphasize in specific areas of study. These emphases give students detailed knowledge in a particular field of study beyond the core program. Discover more about each emphases.

The Master of Arts (Theological Studies) Program is For

  • Persons who wish to prepare to enter a doctoral program.
  • Persons who seek continuing education, professional development or their own enrichment.

Degree required for admission: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
