The dean of the community maintains a list of professionals outside the seminary community who can provide consultation, counseling, advocacy, or mediation for students. The dean of community works collaboratively with members of the LSTC faculty and staff as well as student leaders to provide community-building opportunities and resources for conflict negotiation. |

The dean of the community and Cornelsen Director for Spiritual Formation engage in pastoral care with members of the LSTC community, with special attention to the needs of degree program students. Both the dean of community and the director for spiritual formation encourage each student to develop a discipline of personal Bible study and prayer, and help students form spiritual growth groups for this purpose.
