PEOPLE
Community is something we strive for at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. It's not just our spaces and places, it's the closeness among classmates, the dedication of staff and faculty members who are approachable and personable. In the classroom, our faculty doesn't just lecture, they encourage discussion and debate. All have earned doctorates and of the 17 full time faculty, eight are women, three are African-American and two are Hispanic.
In the following pages, you will read faculty biographies, their areas of expertise and recent published works. We also introduce you to the people who work at the seminary and those who volunteer their time as directors, trustees and senators.
