January 11, 2013:: PLEASE NOTE:: This course registration is now full. Drs. Rossing and Menn intend to offer this trip again in the future, so please check back again for details as they become available.

May 20 - June 1, 2013

You are invited to journey in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul and visit the churches of Revelation.

Join faculty and students from LSTC in a pilgrimage to biblical cities of Turkey.

Tour hosts Barbara Rossing and Esther Menn lead frequent “World of the Bible” trips to the Holy land. Both have traveled in Turkey and love the region’s rich history, beautiful landscapes and diverse peoples. Barbara Rossing teaches New Testament and has excavated at Ephesus, researching the biblical book of Revelation. Esther Menn teaches Old Testament, with expertise in Jewish-Christian and Muslim-Christian relations.

This group's mix of students, lay people, alumni and friends offers an experience of seminary life on the road, as together they explore one of the most fascinating countries of the world. This trip is co-sponsored with St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, with Pastor Margaret Schoewe.
