Duty Free

Duty Free shop has reopened for business. Duty Free offers students and their families an opportunity to obtain good quality, used household items and clothing at no cost. The items found in the Duty Free shop are donated by students, congregations, the LSTC Guild and others in the community who have quality, useful items to donate.

Duty Free not only has a new look, but will also have new procedures and offerings. It will continue to serve the LSTC community by providing a variety of household items, but will not be a source for large furniture.  Furniture can now be rented through the LSTC Housing Office.

The shop is located in the basement of 5430 South University Avenue, and will be open twice a week for two hours.  Please make a note of the schedule:  Mondays 4:30 -6:30pm & Wednesdays 4:30pm-6:30pm.

Donations are currently being accepted. Please carefully review the list of needed donations to see what we need and will accept (Donation List, below).

An on-campus drop-off spot has been created specifically for Duty-Free donations. Collection boxes have been placed by the Ladies Room in the basement of the main (Administrative) building. Please do not leave donations next to or around these boxes – you are encouraged to place all your donations IN the boxes themselves. If your donation is too large or odd shaped to fit in the boxes, please coordinate with the International Student Affairs Office to arrange a time and place to drop it off.

We are excited to reopen this vital service to our campus community! If you have any questions or need more information, please contact International Student Affairs at (773) 256-0673 or email
