Lighting Retrofit: LSTC received a large grant from Commonwealth Edison and the ELCA to install energy efficient lights in the main building.
Recycling:

--Comprehensive recycling program in the main building includes paper, aluminum cans, and batteries.

--Student housing units also offer recycling services for newspaper, cardboard, plastic, three colors of glass, along with tin and aluminum cans.
