Below is the tentative schedule for our Annual Chapel Music series. Several dates and times remain to be confirmed.
Manz Organ Series
September 3, 2013, 12:15-12:45 p.m.
The first Tuesday of every month during the school year, organists present a half-hour organ recital on Augustana Chapel’s Ruth and Paul Manz pipe organ, built by M. L. Bigelow & Co. in 2004. Programs begin at 12:15 p.m.
Advent Lessons and Carols
Sunday, December 1, 2013, 7:00 p.m.
LSTC welcomes the season of Advent in word and song. Cantor Daniel Schwandt, the LSTC Cantorei and friends lead this beloved seminary tradition. Download flyer.
Bach for the Sem

Don’t miss this Bach for the Sem Concert
Long-time director, Dr. Mark Bangert, has announced that the 2014 Bach for the Sem concert on January 12 will be the last one he will lead. Stating that he has accomplished what he hoped to with the project, Bangert says it’s time to open up the opportunity for ventures that others might wish to do.
The 2014 Bach for the Sem concert will be hosted at Grace Lutheran Church, 7300 West Division Street, River Forest, Ill. Part 6 of the Christmas Oratorio by J.S. Bach, is on the program along with favorite pieces by Mendelssohn, Reger, Tavener, and “Epiphany Carol,” by Robert Hobby.
