Soloists, choir, and orchestra present Bach’s Cantata
36c, written as a birthday tribute to a “dear professor,”
and Cantata 51, a tour de force for soprano, strings,
and trumpet. Mark Bangert conducts, as we celebrate
LSTC’s new Wahl continuo organ.

Lyon Leifer, playing a keyless bamboo Indian flute,
joins Hassan Hashim on tabla for a program of
(Bansuri) North Indian music. The musicians will
offer assistance in listening to this attractive,
improvised repertory of music.
