concert presented by Chicago area Lutheran professional singers
and instrumentalists.
Hear J.S. Bach’s rarely-performed Cantata 41 for New Year’s Day and Cantata 110 for Christmas Day. Mark Bangert leads Chicago area Lutheran professional vocalists and instrumentalists, with world-renowned organist Thomas Wikman as featured soloist, playing music of Charles Tournemire. The congregation will join in singing hymns led by the orchestra and choir.
Bach for the Sem supports the music ministries at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
