LSTC announces endowed funds to honor Mark P. Bangert and Ralph w. Klein. |
||
Two influential and deeply respected professors will retire from full-time teaching at LSTC at the end of the current academic year. Mark P. Bangert, John H. Tietjen Chair of Pastoral Ministry: Worship and Music, and Ralph W. Klein, Christ Seminary-Seminex Professor of Old Testament have taught in Chicago since 1983, first as Seminex operated from LSTC, and then as members of the LSTC faculty after the ELCA was formed. The Mark P. Bangert Augustana Chapel Endowment Fund will provide an endowed position for the Cantor to the Seminary to ensure the continuation of high-quality worship and liturgy at LSTC.
To contribute to these funds, send your gift to Office for Advancement, Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, 1100 East 55th St., Chicago, IL 60615. Please write “Bangert Fund” or “Klein Fund” in the memo line of your check. | Follow this link to contribute online |
