Greetings from
the Nebraska Synod Rural Immersion course!

Neb. 03 field
This is a course offered by LSTC to provide seminarians with exposure to rural ministry and lifestyle. The ten participants in this course are from LSTC, McCormick Theological Seminary, and the T.E.E.M. program (Theological Education for Emerging Ministries), and come to the course with varying degrees of exposure to
and knowledge about rural life, ranging from minimal to extensive. During our ten days in Nebraska, we will be attending a rural ministry conference, visiting local churches to learn about their ministries, and living with host families to gain a better understanding of rural life. We look forward to exploring the challenges, joys, and hope that are found in rural life and ministry.
