A Festival of Arts
For the first time, LSTC and McCormick had an arts festival that went on at the same time as the 57th Street Art Fair, June 4-5. The festival was co-sponsored with the Hyde Park Interfaith Council.

Tables included sales of arts and crafts like knitting, pictures, beads; an arts and crafts table for children; and educational displays about world religions, Islam, and LSTC. As vendors sold their wares, community folks entertained with singing and dancing.
