Seminary Gospel Choir to hold benefit at DuSable Museum, February 21, 2003

The Gospel Choir of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago will hold a benefit at the DuSable Museum of African American History, 740 E. 56th Place, Chicago, Friday, February 21, 2003, from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. Entitled "One God, One World, One Song," the gala will include dinner, a concert, silent auction and museum tour. Tickets are $50 per person, tax deductible. Proceeds from the event will support the choir's tour to South Africa July 19-August 10, 2003. This will be the choir's third tour to Africa having gone to Tanzania in 1997 and 2000.

The Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago forms visionary leaders to bear witness to the good news of Jesus Christ. Its approximately 290 students come from all parts of the United States and from around the world to study in the masters level and advanced studies programs.
