LSTC Gospel Choir Hosts 19th Annual Benefit Concert April 22

The Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago Gospel Choir, directed by Dr. Keith Hampton, will host four area choirs for "Faithful Is Our God!" The April 22 concert is the 19th annual benefit concert for the Grover Wright and the Rev. Carole A. Burns Scholarship Funds. The free concert begins at 4:00 p.m. in the Augustana Chapel at LSTC, 1100 East 55th Street in Chicago. A freewill offering designated for the scholarships will be gathered.
"We are blessed to have these excellent choirs performing for the concert," said LSTC Gospel Choir founder and manager, Patricia Bartley. Choirs featured in the concert include the Chicago Community Chorus, Jubilee Faith Community Choir, The Praise House Chorale of the Evangleistic Praise House of Jesus Christ, Bethel Lutheran Church Gospel Choir, and LSTC's Gospel Choir.
The Grover Wright and Carole A. Burns Scholarships are awarded to LSTC students of color or whose first language is other than English. Concert sponsorships and additional donations for the scholarships are welcome at any time.
