Annual Sacred Scriptures Conference:
“What Our Sacred Scriptures
Say About Love of God
and Neighbor”

Each of the past few years the Center of Christian-Muslim Engagement for Peace and Justice has sponsored a mini-conference on what our sacred scriptures have to say about a particular topic.

This year the conference will be on Sunday, April 6 from 2:00-6:00 pm in the Common Room, Rm. 350 at LSTC. The theme is “What Our Sacred Scriptures Say about Love of God and Neighbor”.

Our speakers are Dr. Irfan Omar, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, Marquette University, and Rev. Dr. Ralph Klein, Christ Seminary-Seminex Professor of Old Testament, LSTC.

Respondents will be Dr. Scott Paeth, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies, DePaul University and Rabbi David Fox Sandmel, Ph.D. KAM Isaiah Israel Congregation.

This event is open to the public and free of charge.
