Randall Lee, (Christ Seminary-Seminex, 1982, M.Div.; 1983 S.T.M.; LSTC, 1985, Th.M.; 1992, S.T.D.) who was assistant vice president of development at LSTC in the 1980s, died on July 4. He went on to serve as the executive assistant to the ELCA secretary and as ELCA Director of Ecumenical Affairs and Inter-religious Relations.
Dr. Lee provided leadership in ecumenical dialogues and was a leader in the National Council of Churches and The Lutheran World Federation. He is remembered for his strong commitment to the unity of the church and his work on the statement on the episcopacy for The Lutheran World Federation.
A funeral service was held July 9 at First English Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. Dr. Lee is survived by his parents, Raymond and Marilyn Lee.
