Dale Nettnin elected to North Carolina Lutheran Men in Mission executive council March 6, 2007

Mr. Dale T. Nettnin, assistant vice president for advancement at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, was elected vice president of the North Carolina Lutheran Men in Mission on February 3, 2007. In addition to helping the president, the vice president plans and runs the state conference of Lutheran Men in Mission and visits churches on behalf of the organization.

Nettnin is responsible for working with LSTC alumni/ae and donors in Iowa, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, and other parts of the southeast. He divides his time between Chicago and Hickory, North Carolina. He can be reached at dnettnin@lstc.edu or 773-256-0718.

Nettnin has served as director of major gifts for Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas, development officer for St. Leo University in Florida, and financial advisor for several groups, including Aid Association for Lutherans. A lifelong Lutheran and active layperson, he has served on the synod finance committee for the Florida-Bahamas Synod and in stewardship ministries of several Florida Lutheran churches. He is the past chair, vice chair and board member of Family Resources, Inc. He is president for Family Care Center, a homeless shelter for dependent children and their families. Nettnin also has been a board member of several other non-profit organizations in Florida and North Carolina.
