In July, Kimberly Bryant and Rachel K. Wind joined the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago’s Office for Advancement. Ms. Bryant is the advancement assistant responsible for processing gifts, generating reports and mailing lists, maintaining donor files and responding to phone and email inquiries. Ms. Wind is an LSTC regional gift officer. She will be meeting with congregations, alumni and donors in the northeast (Boston to Washington, D.C.), Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Caribbean Synod, and a portion of the Metropolitan Chicago area to advance the seminary’s mission of forming visionary leaders to bear witness to the good news of Jesus Christ.

Kimberly Bryant is a member of St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chicago, where she serves as the chairperson of the church council, a member of the choir and an outreach ministry volunteer. She has worked for the ELCA as assistant to the executive director of international personnel and helped direct the ELCA missionary training that is held at LSTC each summer. Bryant has also been an administrative assistant at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, and a human resources associate at several companies.
Rachel Wind graduated in May 2010 from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago with a master of divinity degree. She chose to do her degree at LSTC because of its relevance to where she feels the church is going. Wind earned a degree in social work from St. Olaf College. She has been the administrative coordinator for Sojourner Truth House in Gary, Ind. Wind’s passions are music, social justice, and theology.
